The Hayward-Tri-City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is delighted to host the 2012 Northern California Coordinating Council Founders Day celebration.
As we approach the 100 year anniversary of our illustrious sorority, it is important to not only celebrate the many accomplishments of Delta women throughout the decades, but to envision the contributions yet to come. With that in mind, the theme for this event is "Reflections from the Past: Guiding Our Future". We are excited to announce that our Keynote Speaker is Soror Cynthia M.A. Butler-McIntyre, our beloved National President.
The Founders Day celebration will be held on February 10-11, 2012, at the Fremont Marriott in Silicon Valley, 46100 Landing Parkway, Fremont, California 94538. Friday will feature a service project, local entertainment, vendor shopping, and of course, the annual Stroll-Off competition. In addition, Delta Dears can expect a special treat! On Saturday, we will have a rededication ceremony followed by the Founders Day luncheon.
The attire is red suits or dresses. Sorors, please note that pants or hats are not allowed at the Rededication ceremony.
